http://www.chalenejohnson.com/healthy-living/how-to-increase-your-energy-and-productivity/
 I definitely needed to read this tonight! Energy is DEFINITELY a choice that we have to make, and sometimes it is a difficult one! We always have to remember that there is a choice, and if we push through any of the tough spots, we can find the WILL and the WAY to overcome any obstacle in our path!

{FoOd fOR ThOuGHt*}... My "why" of the Day:
 Feeling confident in big crowds or out with friends.
We went to G*Force's Dyno Day on Saturday and had so much fun! It was so hot outside, and it was definitely one of those days where you just feel sweaty and sticky and oily and yuck! I would absolutely LOVE to feel fit and confident and that I look good in less clothes and any weather. How nice it would be to feel beautiful even when sweaty, and feel like heads were turning in a GOOD way, even on a hot day!

Really stinkin' on my water consumption.... nada toastada during this workout... during the whole day to tell the truth :p .... I will shoot for 64 oz tomorrow :D !!

Bodybugg Totals for the Day:
Calories Burned : 2816
Calories Consumed : 1527
Total Deficit : - 1289

Personal Development Reflections:

I DEFINITELY have triggers, and DEFINITELY eat to soothe, more so than eat for fuel. As most of you know, I absolutely LOVE Chalene Johnson { visit Chalene's site } . Just as she mentions, stress and too much going on makes me just want to EAT! And the past couple of weeks I have just been stressed to the GILLS... which immediately makes me think: Chipotle. Taco Bell. Nom nom nom. I can binge eat like nobody's business when I have other things on my mind and am not paying attention. How am I going to deal with this trigger? WATER. Whenever I get stressed out or *think* I am hungry, I will stop, ask myself WHY I am reaching for food, and if it is for any reason other than "I am hungry," I will drink at least 8 oz of water and see how I feel. :) {I will update down the road and see how this is going :)}

{FoOd fOR ThOuGHt*}... My "why" of the Day:
Gorgeous Jessica Simpson dresses.
Perusing through my FAVORITE shopping site, I found a few gorgeous dresses that I would LOVE to be able to wear... WITHOUT having to cover everything up. One in particular just makes me smile every time I see it. How nice it would be to wear such a gorgeous dress...

I would LOVE to be able to wear THIS on a night out... or even New Years! Some sparkly pumps, voluminous 'do... I found extra reason to work those shoulders tonight!! :D

Calories Consumed : 2058
Total Deficit : - 908

Personal Development Reflections:
None for today... will have to do extra tomorrow :)

{FoOd fOR ThOuGHt*}... My "why" of the Day:
 Getting to wear tank tops.
I have a whole bunch of cute ones, and yet due to a bulge here and bulge there, no one ever gets to see me in them! How nice it would be to get to wear a nice tank with shorts and flops to see my nephew's baseball game, barbeque for UFC nights, or even the Fourth of July! I would love to show off some sexy Turbo shoulders at the boxing gym! :D

Day 1: Turbo Fire / ChaLEAN Extreme {Concurrent}*

A little about my goals for this challenge....
Drink more water // be more conscious of my eating // be more aware of exercises that work for my body // sharing my journey with others and inspiring them to take control of their own life // take on a whole new challenge // foster a new set of habits // be what I have always wanted to be... for me, for him, and for the future.

Workouts Completed:
Turbo Fire ~ Fire 30, Stretch 10 :: ChaLEAN Extreme ~ Burn Circuit 1

Water Consumed during Workouts:
52 oz (26 oz during Turbo Fire, 26 oz during CLX)

Bodybugg Totals for the Day:
Calories Burned : 2969
Calories Consumed : 1377
Total Deficit : - 1592 !

Personal Development Reflections:
Today I continued reading about myself (and my partner, Travis) in Personality Plus by Florence Littauer. This book was assigned in a mentoring group by my coach, Lindsay Matway. It is so interesting to read all of the different personality types... there truly have been times when I thought to myself "how could she possibly write a book about me without having met me?!" LOL! It is really that spot on! Yesterday I discovered that I am a Dominant Peaceful Phlegmatic, Strong Popular Sanguine... while Travis is a Dominant Perfect Melancholy, Strong Peaceful Phlegmatic. I ADORE this book... it is so hard to put down! More to come on this one :) .

{FoOd fOR ThOuGHt*}... My "why" of the Day:
 Relieving stress.
It is coming down to the last couple weeks of the toughest semester of school so far and I have been a huge bundle of nerves. As I sit here, sweaty, tired, but accomplished, I remember that exercise has more to give me than just a hot set of abs. It forces me to live in the moment... be one with my body (instead of trapped inside my mind) and physically push out all of the stress, negativity, and worry from the day.... almost like a shower for my soul, cleaning away the dingy debris from my daily grind. And finally, for the first time in a few weeks, I feel... at peace (even if it took a brutal booty kicking to get here).
